The Kirk Cameron Show

Why are millions of Americans taking a diabetes drug when they don't have diabetes? James picked this one for today's Dangerous Conversation, and roughly 1 in 9 adults are now on Ozempic or another GLP-1 just to lose weight.
We dig into what these drugs actually do, and what happens when people stop. Most of the weight comes right back. Great for the drug companies, not so great for you. I also share how I've been eating for the last three years and why I think the real answer is eating the way God designed us to eat.
Is Ozempic a miracle or a trap? Let me know in the comments.

Are you trying to impress everybody? Your looks, your success, your resume? That's exhausting, and it's the wrong audience. Samuel was impressed by tall, kingly Eliab, but God chose the overlooked shepherd boy David. God looks straight at the heart.
When you learn what God values, it changes how you see yourself, your spouse, and your kids. And it frees you from chasing everybody else's applause. Let's talk about what really leaves an impression on God.

Did the devil make you do it? Or was it your own heart?
Spiritual warfare talk has been driving me a little crazy lately, so I've got a hot take. If Jesus crushed the serpent's head and holds ALL authority in heaven and on earth, how much does that leave for Satan? Christians sometimes talk like there's a demon behind every bush waiting to ruin date night. But Jesus said evil comes out of the human heart, and there's enough sin in there to scare a demon to death.
So today I'm tackling the big questions. Can a Christian be possessed? What does D-Day have to do with Christ's victory over Satan? And why is studying the darkness one of the biggest mistakes the church makes? The answer isn't obsession with demons. It's saturation in the Word of God.
Know the truth. Follow the King. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Is it ever okay for a Christian to lie? If a Nazi officer knocks on your door asking about the family hiding in your house, what do you say?
James picked this one after a Christian book club insisted every lie is a sin, no exceptions. We dig into Rahab, the Hebrew midwives, Michal helping David escape, and what the ninth commandment actually says.
This isn't a license to deceive for your own gain. That's always sin. But God's law was never meant to be a weapon in the hands of evildoers.

Have you ever prayed with everything in you, believed without a doubt, and then watched the answer go the other way? I've walked alongside people whose faith fell apart in that exact moment, and I think it's because we've been handed a definition of faith the Bible never actually gave us.
In this episode we go straight to Scripture. To Abraham. To Mary at the foot of the cross. To three young men in front of a blazing furnace who said, "but even if he does not." True faith was never deciding what God should do and believing hard enough to make it happen. It's trusting who He is when you can't see what He's doing. Grab your Bible and pull up a chair. This one might change the way you pray.

Is AI actually making us smarter, or is it quietly making us dumber?
That's the question I couldn't shake this week. We've handed our kids machines that answer every question instantly, and we call them smart for knowing how to use them. But if a computer remembers, calculates, writes, and thinks for you, what happens to your own mind? Are we outsourcing the very struggle God designed to grow wisdom in us?
Here's the danger: AI doesn't just get things wrong. It gets them spectacularly wrong while sounding absolutely certain. And if you don't know the truth for yourself, you'll never catch it.
In this episode I make the case that critical thinking just became a survival skill, then James joins me to react to some clips you won't want to miss, ending with one of the most powerful testimonies of a changed life I've ever heard.
Test everything. Hold fast to what is good. And don't rely on a machine to do your thinking for you.

Is Kathryn Krick a real apostle of God, or is she deceiving millions?
That's the question my son James dropped in my lap, and I could not look away. He pulled together her whole story, from chasing an acting career in Hollywood to the viral "deliverance" videos casting out demons in front of hundreds of millions of views, and we sat down to work through all of it together.
Here's what I keep coming back to. The hurting people in those videos are not the enemy. They're broken, they're searching, and someone is handing them a false hope wrapped up in the name of Jesus. That's the part that breaks my heart.
So in this episode I walk you through the five-point discernment test I use to tell the real thing from a counterfeit, straight out of Scripture. Because false prophets are everywhere, and Jesus told us plainly that we would know them by their fruit.

If Jesus already did everything necessary to save you, why bother trying to be good anymore? Why fight sin so hard? Why forgive the person who hurt you? Why do the right thing when nobody's watching?
Here's the beautiful answer. We don't obey God so that he will save us. We obey him because he already has. In this devotional I open up Romans 6, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the difference between Jesus dying for us and Jesus living for us, the perfect life you and I never could. Grace comes first, gratitude follows, and our good works are simply that gratitude made visible.

The Queen of country music is gone. Dolly Parton passed away at 80, and I couldn't let the week end without honoring her, because her life holds a lesson every artist and dreamer needs to hear.
Most people know "I Will Always Love You" as a love song, but Dolly wrote it as a goodbye to the man who gave her one of her biggest breaks. When Elvis later came calling and his manager demanded half the publishing rights, she said no. It broke her heart, but she wouldn't surrender what God had given her, and years later Whitney Houston turned that same song into one of the greatest vocal performances in history. Dirt poor in the Smoky Mountains, nearly 60 years married to one man, faithful to the end. Her story is a powerful reminder to steward the gift He's placed in your hands.
Rest in peace, Dolly. We will always love you.

Something strange is happening in America. I'm actually starting to agree with Bill Maher. Communism gave the world bread lines, gulags, and the deaths of millions, and yet it's becoming attractive to young people all over again. Before we roll our eyes and say these kids just don't know history, I want to ask a better question: why are they still reaching for it? In this episode I dig into what young people are really longing for, why the promises of socialism sound so compassionate, and why Christianity offers something far better than either greedy capitalism or government confiscation.
Here's the heart of it: communism tries to build a better society by redistributing possessions, but God builds a better people by transforming hearts. Nobody has to seize a Christian's property to make him generous. I'll leave you with one action step to try with a young person in your life this week. Give it a listen, and God bless you.
